Black pleated blinds – strong and intense

Black is a strong statement in any living environment. It can like brown evoke feelings of coziness in some people but seem gloomy or even depressive on others. Used in small doses and combined with lighter colors a black pleated blind can create a vivid and interesting contrast. This is perhaps the point to clear up the common misconception that black pleated blinds have better room darkening properties than differently colored pleated blinds. Room darkening properties of pleated blinds are achieved through the application of special laminations to the fabric. So color has no effect on those properties. In fact, you can as easily find black transparent pleated blinds as you can find a white blackout pleated blind.
